Job Summary
Key Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end Quality Assurance for assigned features and releases.
- Work closely with Developers, Product Owners, and Business Stakeholders within Agile/Scrum teams.
- Ensure comprehensive test coverage, quality metrics, and adherence to QA best practices.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, exploratory, backend, and API testing.
- Conduct hands-on manual testing of web and mobile applications.
- Contribute to test automation using Selenium and/or Playwright.
- Develop and maintain basic to intermediate automation scripts, preferably using Python or JavaScript.
- Perform API testing using Postman and backend/data validation using SQL.
- Work with test management tools for test planning, execution, defect tracking, and reporting.
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and continuous quality improvement practices will be an advantage.
Key Skills / Must-Have Requirements
- Strong experience in Backend Automation Testing.
- Hands-on experience with Selenium and/or Playwright.
- Good understanding of data, data validation, and backend testing is critical for this role.
- Strong working knowledge of Python is important, as the client's application is developed using Python.
- Experience in manual testing of web and mobile applications.
- Experience with API testing using Postman.
- Basic working knowledge of SQL for data validation and backend testing.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional Agile/Scrum teams.
Important Work Location Requirement
This role requires working from the Bangalore office 4 days per week. This is a mandatory and non-negotiable requirement. Candidates should be comfortable meeting this work-from-office expectation before applying.
