SME - Iaas AWS, Terraform

Job Summary

  • Troubleshooting in DNS, DHCP services.
  • Troubleshooting on Infoblox server when it goes down.
  • Working on Infoblox CLI and support
  • Attending maintenance windows for Infoblox housekeeping such as hotfix, upgrades, certificates.
  • Working on DNS traffic configuration for resolving third party roaming issues.
  • Creating all types of DNS records in NSone and Infoblox.
  • Working on Infoblox AWS/Azure  integration.
  • Required in-depth knowledge of DDI/NTP technologies, i.e., DHCP (Infoblox, Windows), DNS (Infoblox, Microsoft DNS), IP Address Management (Infoblox & other related technologies) & NTP protocols.
  • Operational experience supporting infrastructure systems
  • Some skills/understanding on Syslog tools
  • Ability to lead and drive outcomes during high severity P1/P2 incidents.
  • Ability to handle change creations and tasks as per SLA
  • Understanding and use of data structures like JSON and YAML including the use of
  • Webservice APIs.
  • Knowledge with using Git and CI/CD tools.

Key Responsibilities

  • SD-WAN & Network Management: Design, configure, and manage SD-WAN (Viptela, Silver Peak) and LAN/WAN infrastructure.
  • Troubleshooting & Support: Monitor and resolve LAN/WAN/VPN issues, including IPSEC, NAT, PAT, and GRE tunnels.
  • Carrier Coordination: Manage WAN links, coordinating with internet service providers to resolve link issues.
  • Network Security: Implement and maintain network security policies, including firewall configurations.
  • Documentation: Create and update network architecture, high-level/low-level design (HLD/LLD) documents.
  • Project Deployment: Lead network migration, upgrades, and optimization projects. 

Skill Requirements

 

  • Technical Skills: Deep understanding of networking protocols (BGP, OSPF, QoS, VLAN, TCP/IP) and SD-WAN technologies.
  • Hardware Knowledge: Hands-on experience with Cisco routers, switches, and firewalls.
  • Experience: 3–7+ years in network support/engineering roles.
  • Tools: Proficiency in network monitoring tools (e.g., ITSM Remedy).

Other Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
  • Certifications: CCNP or CCIE preferred.
