Job Summary

We are seeking an Azure Cloud Consultant to design, implement, and advise on secure, scalable, and cost‑effective Microsoft Azure solutions. This role combines hands‑on technical delivery with client‑facing consulting, helping organizations adopt Azure best practices, modernize applications, and accelerate cloud transformation.

Key Responsibilities

Azure Architecture & Implementation

  • Design, build, and deploy Azure cloud solutions aligned with business and technical requirements
  • Architect highly available, scalable, and resilient systems using Azure services
  • Design and implement Azure landing zones and subscription strategies
  • Support application modernization initiatives, including migration, re‑platforming, and cloud‑native design

Cloud Migration & Modernization

  • Assess on‑premises and legacy environments and define Azure migration strategies
  • Execute migrations using Azure Migrate and Microsoft best practices
  • Support modernization using containers, PaaS, and serverless Azure services

Security, Governance & Compliance

  • Implement Azure security best practices, including:
    • Azure Active Directory (Entra ID)
    • RBAC
    • Network security and identity governance
  • Design and enforce Azure governance controls using:
    • Management Groups
    • Azure Policy
    • Blueprints (or policy‑driven equivalents)
  • Support compliance, risk management, and audit readiness

Automation & DevOps Enablement

  • Automate infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (IaC):
    • Terraform and/or ARM/Bicep templates
  • Design and support CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions
  • Promote DevOps and cloud‑native operating models

Consulting & Collaboration

  • Work directly with clients to gather requirements and provide architectural guidance
  • Collaborate with application, security, and operations teams
  • Create solution documentation, architecture diagrams, and technical recommendations
  • Act as a trusted advisor for Azure adoption and optimization

Skill Requirements

Core Requirements 5–8+ years of experience in cloud engineering, cloud architecture, or consulting Strong hands‑on experience with Microsoft Azure Solid understanding of: Azure core services (Virtual Machines, VNets, Storage, Azure SQL) Networking concepts (VNet peering, VPN, ExpressRoute) Experience implementing Infrastructure as Code: Terraform and/or ARM/Bicep Strong foundation in Linux/Windows systems, networking, and security fundamentals DevOps & Automation Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices Scripting experience using Python, PowerShell, or Bash Familiarity with container technologies: Docker Kubernetes (AKS) Consulting Skills Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions Strong communication and client‑facing skills Experience working in cross‑functional or custom

Other Requirements

  • Experience with:
    • Azure Landing Zones
    • Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)
    • Serverless services (Azure Functions, Logic Apps)
  • Exposure to multi‑cloud environments (AWS and/or GCP)
  • Knowledge of cost optimization and FinOps practices
  • Familiarity with security and compliance frameworks
  • Microsoft Certifications such as:
    • Azure Solutions Architect Expert
    • Azure Administrator Associate
    • Azure DevOps Engineer Expert
