Job Summary

seasoned DevOps Engineer to bridge the gap between infrastructure management and application deployment, specializing in running Avaloq software on Kubernetes. The ideal candidate will use Terraform to manage infrastructure and deploy Avaloq services, focusing on automation, stability, and cloud optimization.

Key Responsibilities

1. Ensure Timely Resolution And Quality Compliance Of Escalated Tickets And Incidents Using Kubernetes And Terraform, Adhering To Agreed Slas.
2. Mentor Team Members And Administrators In Best Practices For Kubernetes And Terraform, Prepare Standard Operating Procedures (Sops), And Maintain Effective Documentation To Enhance Operational Efficiency.
3. Validate Change Order Implementation Plans And Ensure Human Error Compliance While Participating In Capacity Planning Activities Using Aws Cloud Formation And Eks.
4. Actively Participate In Customer Meetings To Understand Issues Faced, Ensuring Positive Customer Feedback And Satisfaction Through Effective Communication And Problem-Solving.
5. Validate Root Cause And Trend Analyses Using Aws Paas Tools And Present Reports To Key Business Stakeholders To Facilitate Performance Improvements In Operations.

Skill Requirements

Infrastructure as Code: Expert knowledge of Terraform for infrastructure provisioning and lifecycle management. Container Orchestration: Strong, hands-on experience with Kubernetes (AKS, EKS, GKE, or self-hosted). Avaloq Experience: Experience deploying and maintaining Avaloq Banking Systems in a Docker/Kubernetes environment. Scripting: Proficient in scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python) for automation. Tools: Proficient with Docker, Helm, git, and CI/CD tools. Cloud Proficiency: Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud provider (AWS/Azure/GC

Other Requirements

Experience: 3+ years in DevOps roles, with strong experience in deploying complex applications to Kubernetes.
