Job Summary

Seeking an experienced Red Hat Linux Engineer to support and enhance enterprise Linux platforms across on-prem and AWS environments. The role focuses on system reliability, security, automation, and high availability, while driving DevSecOps practices and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide L2/L3 support for enterprise RHEL environments (Dev/QA/Prod)
  • Manage high-availability clusters (Pacemaker/ServiceGuard)
  • Lead OS security, hardening, patching, and compliance initiatives
  • Automate operational tasks using Ansible, scripting, and CI/CD tools
  • Support backup, recovery, and disaster recovery readiness
  • Integrate security controls into DevOps pipelines (DevSecOps)
  • Manage LVM, filesystems, and storage (NFS/EFS)
  • Collaborate with security, application, and infrastructure teams
  • Support cloud-based workloads in AWS

Skill Requirements

  • Strong expertise in Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL)
  • Experience with Pacemaker, ServiceGuard, and LVM
  • Proficiency in Ansible, Jenkins, scripting (Bash/Python)
  • Knowledge of OS security, CIS hardening, and compliance frameworks
  • Familiarity with AWS (EC2, EBS, EFS)
  • Experience in patching, monitoring, and lifecycle management

Other Requirements

  • DevSecOps and CI/CD integration experience
  • Exposure to artifact management tools (e.g., JFrog)
  • Experience in regulated enterprise environments

Experience

  • 5–10+ years in Linux system administration and engineering
