We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior MS SQL Server Database Administrator (L3) to oversee, maintain, and optimize our enterprise database infrastructure. In this role, you will manage the full SQL Server hierarchy, drive critical migration and upgrade initiatives, and ensure high availability. Additionally, you will leverage L2-level expertise in SSIS, SSRS, Power BI, and SSAS to support our data integration and reporting ecosystems, alongside managing critical infrastructure-related SQL jobs and SCCM data pipelines. Database Infrastructure & Architecture (L3 Focus)\\\\r\\\\n• SQL Server Hierarchy Management: Design, configure, maintain, and optimize complex SQL Server environments across production, staging, and development zones.\\\\r\\\\n• Migrations & Upgrades: Lead and execute seamless database migrations, version upgrades, and patch management (Cumulative Updates/Service Packs) with minimal downtime.• High Availability & Disaster Recovery (HADR): Implement and manage AlwaysOn Availability Groups, Failover Cluster Instances (FCI), log shipping, and replication.• Infrastructure & SCCM Integration: Manage and troubleshoot specialized SQL jobs tied to core infrastructure health and SCCM (System Center Configuration Manager) data repositories.• Performance Tuning: Proactively monitor, diagnose, and resolve complex performance bottlenecks (indexing, query tuning, locking/blocking, and resource contention).2. Data Integration & ETL (L2 Focus)• SSIS Packages Management: Deploy, configure, monitor, and troubleshoot SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) packages.• ETL Maintenance: Maintain and optimize existing ETL workflows, ensuring data integrity and scheduling efficiency.3. Business Intelligence & Reporting• Reporting Services: Administer and maintain SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services) environments, including report deployment and security configuration.\\\\r\\\\n• Power BI Ecosystem: Support and manage Power BI gateways, data refreshes, and workspace environments for enterprise reporting.• Analysis Services: Provide operational support for SSAS (SQL Server Analysis Services) tabular and multidimensional models.4. Database Development Support (L2 Focus)• Query Writing & Analysis: Demonstrate solid L2 proficiency in writing, reviewing, and optimizing T-SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and functions to assist development teams and troubleshoot issues. Required Skills & QualificationsTechnical Competencies• SQL Server Administration: 6+ years of hands-on experience as a SQL Server DBA handling large-scale enterprise environments (SQL Server 2016 through recent versions).• Advanced DBA Skills: Deep expertise in backup/recovery strategies, SQL Server security, policy management, and advanced troubleshooting.• BI Stack: Solid, practical knowledge (L2 level) of SSIS, SSRS, and SSAS.• Modern Analytics: Experience supporting Power BI infrastructure and report deployment.• T-SQL Proficiency: Strong ability to write and analyze complex SQL queries and scripts for automation and data validation.Inf
