Job Summary
10+ years of advanced Network Engineering experience • Deep expertise in enterprise-scale network environments. • Strong hands experiencing LAN/WAN/Wireless Technologies. • Must have very good experience in troubleshooting skills. • Good hands-on experience in using monitoring tools (SolarWinds / CheckMK (monitoring). • Experience in using Cisco ISE (user authentication issues) and Wireless management tools like Cisco Prime/DNAC. • Should have strong experience in IPAM for DHCP/DNS
Key Responsibilities
Own complex troubleshooting across all OSI layers and resolve complex network issues across all OSI layers. • Design, implement, and optimize network architecture. • Lead and drive the major incidents (P1/P2) • Hands-on experience with Cisco Catalyst 9300, 9500, and Nexus series switches (including VSS, Stacking, STP, VLANs, OSPF, BGP, EIGRP). • Hands-on experience with F5 load balancer • Drive automation, optimization, and innovation • Experience designing and supporting Cisco ISE and 802.1X authentication (wired and wireless). • Proficiency with Cisco DNA Center for network automation, monitoring, and policy enforcement. • Familiarity with network security principles, segmentation, firewall rule management, and NAC policies. • Hands-on expertise with Wireless (Cisco WLC), DNS, DHCP, HTTP/S, SSH, SMTP, and SNMP monitoring tools. • Experience with network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, CheckMK, or similar). • Ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks/projects without needing micromanagement. • Must have a growth mindset, strong curiosity, and a passion for continuous learning and improvement. • Excellent documentation skills and ability to communicate technical details clearly. • Familiarity with network automation tools (Python, Ansible). • Experience supporting team members preferred
