Job Summary

Responsible for administering and supporting Apache Kafka platforms to ensure reliable, secure, and scalable event streaming services.

 

Key Responsibilities

Install, configure, and maintain Kafka clusters.\\\\r\\\\nManage brokers, topics, partitions, replication, and consumer groups.\\\\r\\\\nMonitor cluster health, performance, and capacity.\\\\r\\\\nTroubleshoot production issues and performance bottlenecks.\\\\r\\\\nAdminister Kafka security (SSL/TLS, SASL, ACLs, certificates).\\\\r\\\\nManage Kafka Connect, Schema Registry, ksqlDB, and Confluent components.\\\\r\\\\nPerform cluster expansion, replication, and partition management.\\\\r\\\\nImplement backup, disaster recovery, and high availability.\\\\r\\\\nSupport application onboarding and Kafka integrations.\\\\r\\\\nAutomate operational tasks using scripting tools.\\\\r\\\\nConduct capacity planning and performance tuning.\\\\r\\\\nMaintain SOPs, documentation, and knowledge articles.
