Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Control-M Administrator to manage and support the BMC Control-M batch scheduling environment. The role will ensure reliable job execution, workflow management, platform health, and timely issue resolution across production environments
Key Responsibilities
- Administer and support Control-M components, including Control-M Enterprise Manager, Control-M Server, and Control-M Agents.
- Monitor and troubleshoot job failures, scheduling issues, and batch processing incidents for SAP and OS jobs.
- Design, maintain, and optimize job workflows, calendars, dependencies, and scheduling conditions
- Perform regular system health checks, vulnerability remediation, and ensure platform availability and stability
- Plan and execute upgrades, patches, migrations, and environment maintenance activities.
- Configure alerts, notifications, and operational reports for proactive monitoring and governance
- Collaborate with application, infrastructure, and business teams to support scheduling requirements and operational changes
- Provide production support and participate in on-call coverage as required
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of job scheduling, workload automation, and batch processing concepts.
- Hands-on experience with Control-M EM, Server, and Agents.
- Strong troubleshooting, incident resolution, and performance tuning skills.
- Basic knowledge of PostgreSQL / SQL databases.
- Familiarity with AWS environments and cloud-based operations.
- Understanding of ITIL processes, especially incident, problem, and change management
Preferred Skills
- Control-M Automation API exposure.
- AWS administration or support knowledge.
- Control-M certification.
- Experience working with large-scale production environments and multi-team coordination
Soft Skills
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
