Job Summary

Design, implement, and manage enterprise backup and recovery solutions using Commvault Complete Backup & Recovery.rn• Develop and maintain automation scripts (PowerShell, REST APIs) to streamline backup operations, reporting, and monitoring.rn• Manage and optimize backup jobs across on-premises and cloud environments rn• Configure and maintain backup policies, schedules, storage targets, and retention settings.rn• Monitor backup performance and proactively resolve failures and bottlenecks.rn• Perform regular Disaster Recovery (DR) testing and ensure compliance with RTO/RPO objectives.rn• Provide L3 support for escalated issues and mentor L1/L2 support teams.rn• Collaborate with application, database, and infrastructure teams to ensure data protectionrn• Maintain detailed documentation of backup architecture, procedures, and automation workflows.rn• Strong understanding of SAN/NAS, networking, and storage technologies.rn• Experience with storage technology L2 task or more

Key Responsibilities

1. Ensure Timely Resolution And Quality Compliance Of Escalated Incidents Using Commvault And Azure Tools, Adhering To Agreed Slas To Maintain Service Excellence.
2. Mentor Team Members And Administrators While Preparing Standard Operating Procedures (Sops) And Maintaining Comprehensive Documentation To Facilitate Knowledge Sharing And Operational Efficiency.
3. Validate Change Order Implementation Plans And Ensure Compliance With Human Error Protocols, Participating In Capacity Planning Activities To Optimize Resource Allocation.
4. Facilitate Customer Satisfaction By Actively Engaging In Customer Meetings To Address Concerns And Gather Feedback, Ensuring That Services Meet Client Expectations.
5. Validate And Present Analyses, Including Root Cause And Trend Analyses, To Key Business Stakeholders, Enabling Data-Driven Decisions To Enhance Operational Performance.
