Job Summary

  • Must have 10+ years’ experience with firewall & Netscaler solution.
  • Hands on experience in administration, monitoring, , reporting, migration, implementation, and management of Fortinet firewalls  & Cisco Firepower, Netscaler  with excellent Analytical skills. 
  • Hands on experience in defining the zones, rules and other FW & Netscaler administration tasks
  • Hands on experience in configuring and troubleshooting various network security topologies which includes IPsec Site-to-Site VPN, SSL VPN, Static/Dynamic NAT & PAT, Group Policies, QOS, High Availability, Port forwarding, logging, and SNMP for firewalls like Fortinet, and Cisco. Candidate should also be able to perform troubleshooting to with multiple parties on a bridge to resolve complex issues.
  • Hands on experience on adding certificated, Load balance rules etc. in Netscaler
  • Hands on experience in authentication profiles like LDAP, Radius, Local-Captive Portal and Multi factor authentication integration.
  • Essential knowledge in Certificate Management & in creating Self signed certificates
  • Experience in maintenance of DR, backup/restore,  patch/signature updating, OS /firmware upgradation.
  • Hands on experience in Configuring, troubleshooting, administration, monitoring, , reporting, migration, implementation, and day-to-day management of web security solution.
  • Good understanding on advance attacks and mitigation technologies, resource needs to ensure the security and network posture of customers and stay on top of recent security threats and developments.
  • Excellent Networking understanding  
  • Skills in Team management and customer interaction with excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Experience in vendor management
  • Exposure in defining SLAs
  • Expertise in defining Standard Operating Procedures
  • Expertise in Remote Infrastructure management for network and information security
  • Responsible for the day-to-day security and network management for the customer,  able to capture requirement and deliver as expected with value-add and troubleshoot any device-specific configuration, health, and availability issues.
  • Familiar with various office-environments and office-related software packages (Email, ticketing systems, telephone functions, internal and client-facing communication, etc.).
  • Experience in problem management, Root Cause Analysis investigations and documentation.
  • Fortinet and Cisco professional certification.

  • Installation, Configuration, and Management:

Install, configure, and manage NetScaler appliances, including virtualized versions (VPX) and hardware appliances. 

  • Load Balancing:

Configure and maintain NetScaler load balancing features to distribute traffic across multiple servers and applications, ensuring high availability and performance. 

  • Web Application Firewall (WAF):

Deploy, configure, and manage NetScaler WAF to protect web applications from various threats and vulnerabilities. 

  • Performance Monitoring and Tuning:

Monitor NetScaler performance, identify bottlenecks, and optimize configurations to ensure optimal application delivery and user experience. 

  • Troubleshooting and Incident Resolution:

Troubleshoot NetScaler-related issues, identify root causes, and implement solutions to resolve incidents and restore service. 

  • Documentation and Knowledge Sharing:

Document NetScaler configurations, installation procedures, incident reports, and resolutions, contributing to a comprehensive knowledge base. 

  • Application Administration:

Perform application administration tasks, such as onboarding new applications onto the NetScaler infrastructure and managing user access. 

  • Security:

Contribute to the overall security posture by implementing security policies and features within the NetScaler environment, such as WAF and other security features. 

  • Collaboration:

Work with other IT teams (e.g., networking, systems administration) to integrate NetScaler solutions into the broader IT infrastructure and ensure seamless operation. 

Required Skills and Experience:

  • NetScaler Expertise:

Solid understanding of NetScaler architecture, features, and configurations. 

  • Load Balancing and WAF:

Experience with load balancing technologies and web application firewalls (WAFs). 

  • Troubleshooting and Problem Solving:

Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve complex issues related to NetScaler and application delivery. 

  • Networking Fundamentals:

Basic understanding of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, and load balancing protocols. 

  • Virtualization (if applicable):

Experience with virtualized NetScaler solutions (VPX). 

  • Operating Systems:

Familiarity with Windows and/or Linux operating systems (depending on the environment). 

  • Scripting and Automation (optional):

Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) for automating NetScaler tasks. 

  • Communication and Collaboration:

Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with other teams.
