Job Summary
Local Hardware Installation: Perform on-site installation, configuration, and testing of IT hardware, including desktops, laptops, printers, peripherals, and basic network equipment, in preparation for site migration. • Post-Migration Hypercare Support: Act as the primary point of contact for on-site, high-touch technical support immediately following a site\'s migration (\"hypercare\" period) to rapidly troubleshoot and resolve any user-facing issues. • User & Site Readiness Assessments: Conduct pre-migration assessments of site infrastructure and user preparedness to identify and mitigate potential risks, technical gaps, and training needs. • End-User Training and Coaching: Develop and deliver formal and informal training sessions to educate end-users on new systems, applications, and security protocols within the Client environment. Provide oneon- one coaching to ensure user adoption and confidence as required. • Infrastructure Collaboration: Liaise with and assist central IT infrastructure and cybersecurity teams with the local setup, validation, and testing of network devices, servers, and security tools. • Proactive Issue Ownership: Take full ownership of local IT incidents and requests, from initial reporting, through to final resolution. Proactively identify potential problems and escalate to central teams, when necessary, while maintaining communication with stakeholders. • Documentation and Reporting: Create and maintain clear documentation for site-specific configurations, processes, and issue resolutions. Provide regular status updates to the IT Integration team. • Continuous Professional Development: Stay up to date with the latest technologies and trends in the fast-moving IT industry. • Safe: Comply with all Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment policies.
