Job Summary

is looking for an Infrastructure Engineer who will be part of the Infrastructure Engineering team responsible for supporting the services and products that power the E*TRADE lines of business. If you are highly motivated and goal oriented, can handle interruptions while fluidly switching between several projects, and have a work smart not harder approach, this job will be ideal.

Job Description : Responsibilities:\\\\r\\\\nWork within the group maintaining and developing Infrastructure:\\\\r\\\\n• Develop and extend tools to maintain and monitor deployments.\\\\r\\\\n• Assess, document, present, and execute project assignments.\\\\r\\\\n• Evaluate and recommend commercial and open-source software.\\\\r\\\\n• Automate complex processes.\\\\r\\\\n• Escalation point to answer system related questions.\\\\r\\\\n• Provide production support.\\\\r\\\\n\\\\r\\\\nRequirements:\\\\r\\\\n• 4+ years of experience working with Application Delivery Controllers (Citrix Netscalers, F5 Big-IPs etc).\\\\r\\\\n• 3+ years of experience with UNIX/Linux, strong understanding of Linux OS.\\\\r\\\\n• 3+ years of hands-on Programming experience in languages like Python.\\\\r\\\\n• 3+ years of configuration management experience (e.g., puppet, Git, Subversion.)\\\\r\\\\n• 3+ years of understanding and working knowledge of fundamental Internet Protocols (e.g., DNS, HTTP, SSH, SMTP, FTP).\\\\r\\\\n• 2+ years of Core Services experience (e.g., Apache/Nginx, Tomcat, Jetty, Postfix, bind). \\\\r\\\\n\\\\r\\\\n\\\\r\\\\nDesirable:\\\\r\\\\n• Web/Internet Security experience is a plus.\\\\r\\\\n• 2+ years of experience working with Terraform or other IaC toolsets. \\\\r\\\\n• BlueCat IPAM/DNS Experience\\\\r\\\\n• InfoBlox Experience\\\\r\\\\n• CI/CD\\\\r\\\\n• A degree in Computer Science or a related field.\\\\r\\\\n
 

 

Key Responsibilities

Requirements: • 4+ years of experience working with Application Delivery Controllers (Citrix Netscalers, F5 Big-IPs etc). • 3+ years of experience with UNIX/Linux, strong understanding of Linux OS. • 3+ years of hands-on Programming experience in languages like Python. • 3+ years of configuration management experience (e.g., puppet, Git, Subversion.) • 3+ years of understanding and working knowledge of fundamental Internet Protocols (e.g., DNS, HTTP, SSH, SMTP, FTP). • 2+ years of Core Services experience (e.g., Apache/Nginx, Tomcat, Jetty, Postfix, bind).
