SME - IBM DB2 for z/OS

Job Summary

Required Professional and Technical Expertise: 

•5+ years working in a mainframe operations environment providing an operational, service, consultancy or support role
•Demonstrated strong written and communications skills
•The ability to use TSO and ISPF
•JCL skills.
•Ability to write REXX and Working Knowledge of the System Automation Policy Database (PDB) 
•z/OS Automation Migration Projects


Your experience should include implementing and using following products, with a desire to expand your skills to cover others:

NetView for z/OS; System Automation for z/OS 

 

Preferred Professional and Technical Expertise:

Knowledge of other Z software, including the system operation, configuration and automation, z/OS system startup and shutdown, SMP/E

Knowledge of the products that compete against the IBM products listed previously.

Knowledge with fully automated system configurations on IBM Z

Compensation and Benefits

A candidate’s pay within the range will depend on their skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law. This role may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses subject to company policies. In addition, this role is eligible for the following benefits subject to company policies: medical, dental, vision, pharmacy, life, accidental death & dismemberment, and disability insurance; employee assistance program; 401(k) retirement plan; 10 days of paid time off per year (some positions are eligible for need-based leave with no designated number of leave days per year); and 10 paid holidays per year.
