Role Summary
We are seeking an experienced Service Mapping professional with 6–8 years of experience in IT Service Management to design, implement, and maintain accurate business service and application mappings. The role focuses on improving service visibility, impact analysis, and operational resilience.
Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain end-to-end service maps for business-critical services
• Lead Service Mapping initiatives using best practices and governance standards
• Discovery, identification, and mapping of applications, infrastructure, and dependencies
• Collaborate with application owners, infrastructure, and operations teams
• Ensure CMDB accuracy, completeness, and data quality
• Support incident, problem, change, and impact analysis through accurate mappings
• Define service mapping standards, templates, and onboarding processes
• Troubleshoot discovery issues and optimize patterns and probes
• Provide documentation and knowledge transfer to operations teams
• Act as a subject matter expert (SME) for Service Mapping
Skill Requirements
Required Skills & Experience
• 6–8 years of experience in ITSM / Service Mapping
• Strong hands-on experience with ServiceNow Service Mapping
• Deep understanding of CMDB, CSDM, and service hierarchy models
• Strong knowledge of application architecture, infrastructure, and networking
• Experience with Discovery, MID Servers, probes, and patterns
• ITIL v3 / v4 process understanding
• Strong stakeholder communication and coordination skills
Other Requirements
Good to Have
• ServiceNow CSA / CIS – Discovery certifications
• Experience with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Knowledge of DevOps, microservices, and integrations
• Experience in large enterprise or regulated environments
