Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Storage L3 Engineer with strong expertise in NetApp ONTAP environments and cloud storage platforms. The ideal candidate will be responsible for advanced support, complex migrations, and architecture-level contributions across hybrid and cloud storage ecosystems.

Key Responsibilities

Provide Level 3 (L3) support for: NetApp Clustered Data ONTAP (CDOT) Amazon FSx for NetApp ONTAP (FSxN) Cloud-based storage platforms Lead and execute end-to-end storage migration projects, including: 7-Mode to ONTAP migrations CDOT to CDOT migrations CDOT to FSxN / Cloud Volumes ONTAP (CVO) Design, implement, and administer NetApp storage solutions, including: NAS / SAN environments SnapMirror, SnapVault SVMs, aggregates, volumes, qtrees Manage and optimize cloud storage services: AWS FSxN, FSxW, and EFS Integration with AWS services such as EC2, EKS, Lambda, and S3 Perform system upgrades, patching, and performance tuning across production and DR environments Conduct r

Skill Requirements

  • Strong hands-on experience with:
    • NetApp ONTAP (CDOT)
    • FSx for NetApp ONTAP (FSxN), FSxW, EFS
    • SnapMirror and SnapVault
  • Proven expertise in migration projects, including:
    • 7-Mode to ONTAP
    • ONTAP to FSxN
    • ONTAP to Cloud Volumes ONTAP (CVO)
  • Deep understanding of AWS and cloud storage services:
    • FSxN, FSxW, EFS, S3, EBS
    • Azure Storage (Blob, Files, Tables, Queue)
  • Strong knowledge of storage and networking protocols:
    • NFS, SMB/CIFS, iSCSI, NDMP
    • DNS, LDAP, Active Directory integration
  • Experience with High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) architectures
  • Familiarity with ITIL / Lean IT practices:
    • Incident, Problem, and Change Management
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills

Other Requirements

  • Experience in multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • Knowledge of container storage integrations:
    • Kubernetes
    • NetApp Trident / Astra
