Key Responsibilities
Windows Server Administration
- Perform regular health checks and preventive maintenance activities.
- DFS Management and troubleshooting
- Windows failover Management and troubleshooting
Virtualization Management
- Manage VMware vSphere, Hyper-V, or other virtualization platforms.
- Create, configure, and maintain virtual machines.
- Support VM migrations, snapshots, and disaster recovery processes.
Incident & Change Management
- Troubleshoot and resolve server, OS, and infrastructure-related issues.
- Participate in incident, problem, and change management processes.
- Document root cause analysis (RCA) for critical incidents.
Required Skills
Technical Skills
- Strong experience with Windows Server Administration.
- Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy Management.
- PowerShell scripting and automation.
- VMware vSphere and/or Microsoft Hyper-V.
- Windows patching and server lifecycle management.
- Backup and recovery solutions (Veeam, Commvault, NetBackup, etc.).
- Microsoft IIS administration.
- Storage and networking fundamentals.
- Windows Failover Clustering experience
