Job Summary

Windows & VmWare L3 Should have minimum 5-8 year of Windows Administration experience with 5+ years of Extensive experience and proficiency in managing and maintaining a medium/large environment (atleast 50-60 Servers) • Installing, configuring and maintaining Win2K, Win2K3, Win2K8 servers • Troubleshooting Hardware and Operating system related issue • Exposure to complete Patch Management process of testing, deployment, patch level reports, etc • Fine-tune Windows servers for optimal performance • Troubleshooting Clusters and related issues in a SAN environment • Experience in at least one backup tool – BackupExec /Netbackup /Arcserve/ Legato/TSM • Working knowledge/awareness of one or more of the following is essential: 1. Active Directory 2. File and Print Services 3. Backup 4. Exchange 2K, Exchange 2K3 5. Windows Clustering 6. Monitoring and Management tools like HPOVO, SIM (System Insight Manager), IBM Director, BMC Patrol, NetIQ, etc. • Installation configuration of RedHat Linux and experience managing server using command lines. • VMware ESX Management and Troubleshooting. • Intermediate knowledge of Switching and vlan, NIC Teaming. • Experience in VMware Guests, Templates, P2V, Capacity Planner, VMotion, DRS, etc • Basic working knowledge of SAN. • Troubleshooting Hardware and Operating system related issues. • Patch administration and deployment. • Aware of Industry Standards & Best Practices. • Experience in at least one backup tool – BackupExec /Netbackup /Arcserve/ Legato • Should have good communication and customer interaction skills. • Must have aptitude and attitude to learn / work on new technologies. • Should have good communication and customer interaction skills. • Must have aptitude and attitude to learn / work on new technologies. • Should be an MCP or MCTS in Windows 2000 or above. MCSE/MCSA or MCITP is preferred. • Azure Cloud Certified is mandatory
