Role :Systems Administrator
Core Responsibilities:
Systems Administrator role specialized in Managed File Transfer (MFT)
The system administrator will have responsibilities in the creation, modification, deployment of file transfers for jobs and services as well as end user support.
The systems administrator will be responsible for installation, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and problem resolution of the file transfer service as well as communication with internal and external teams and vendors.
Designing, implementing, and managing secure file transfer processes and automation solutions.
Leveraging languages (PowerShell, Python, Ruby, or Perl) to automate inbound/outbound transfers to ensure they are received on schedule.
Monitoring automated workflows, troubleshooting issues, and implementing fixes for necessary adjustments.
Partnering with application owners to ensure requirements are understood, vetted, and implemented correctly.
Experience in both Linux and Windows Server environments
Ability to support EST business hours with flexibility for a 24/7 on-call rotation.
Key Responsibilities
2. Mentor Team Members And Administrators In Best Practices For Microsoft Hyper-V And Sccm Operations, While Preparing Standard Operating Procedures And Maintaining Comprehensive Documentation For Knowledge Sharing.
3. Validate Change Order Implementation Plans And Assess Human Error Compliance, Actively Participating In Capacity Planning Activities To Optimize Resource Allocation.
4. Engage In Customer Meetings To Actively Address And Resolve Issues, Ensuring Positive Feedback And High Satisfaction Levels Through Effective Communication And Problem-Solving.
5. Conduct Thorough Analyses, Including Root Cause Analysis And Trend Analysis, And Prepare Detailed Reports To Present Findings And Recommendations To Key Business Stakeholders.
