SME - Mainframe SysOps & Batch Scheduling Tools

Job Summary

Missions • 4-6 years of experience in IT Infrastructure, preferably in outsourcing or managed services environments. • Experience in Sterling File Gateway (SFG). • Experience in Sterling Integrator. • Experience in IBM Connect:Express. • Experience in IBM Connect:Direct. • Experience working in production support environments. • Experience with Unix/Linux systems. • Experience in business process creation and maintenance. • Knowledge of protocols: SFTP, FTP, FTPS, HTTPS, S3 and PESIT (preferred). • Strong experience in certificate renewals. • Participation in Disaster Recovery activities for applications. Profile Functional Skills • Responsible for managing Messaging and File Transfer services and technologies. • Provide effective and efficient management of MTS services for end users and application teams. • Manage highly skilled and multi-skilled teams and onboard new support resources. • Manage projects, budgets, cost control and optimization initiatives. • Good understanding of automation and industry best practices. • Handle critical escalations and drive resolutions. • Work independently, propose ideas and collaborate globally. • Operate effectively in highly challenging and stressful environments. • Strong knowledge of infrastructure management, service quality, availability and legacy management. • Good knowledge of Incident, Change, Request and Release Management. • Understanding of Vulnerability Management. • Understanding of Asset, License and Capacity Management. • Understanding of Resiliency, Disaster Recovery (DR) and Business Continuity Planning (BCP). • Experience managing projects, reporting, timelines and publishing dashboards. • Ensure resiliency tests and exercises are performed as recommended. • Participate in application Disaster Recovery activities. • Flexible to support weekend activities when required. Desirable Skills • ITIL V3 knowledge. • Agile certifications. • Shell scripting skills.
