Job Summary
Job Summary : • Design, implement, and manage Data Loss Prevention (DLP) policies across endpoints, cloud services, and email systems \\r\\n• Administer and configure Microsoft Purview (Data Loss Prevention, Information Protection, Insider Risk, eDiscovery and DLM) \\r\\n• Develop and enforce data classification and labeling strategies (sensitivity labels, retention policies) \\r\\n• Monitor and respond to DLP alerts and incidents, including investigation and remediation \\r\\n• Integrate DLP controls across Microsoft 365 (Exchange, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams) \\r\\n• Conduct data discovery and mapping to identify sensitive data across the environment \\r\\n• Support governance compliance initiatives \\r\\n• Provide reporting and dashboards on data protection posture and DLP effectiveness\\r\\n• Collaborate with security and IT teams to align DLP with Zero Trust architecture\\r\\n• Conduct user awareness and training related to data protection policies \\r\\n• Perform policy tuning and optimization to minimize false positives/negatives \\r\\n• Support audit readiness and regulatory assessments \\r\\n• Document configurations, procedures, and governance processes\\r\\n\\r\\n\\r\\n\\r\\n
Key Responsibilities
Job Responsibilities : The Microsoft Purview L3 Security Consultant serves as technical escalation point for Microsoft Purview services. This role is responsible for architecture, implementation, governance, optimization, advanced troubleshooting, policy design, compliance management, and strategic consulting.\\r\\nThe engineer acts as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) and provides technical leadership across Microsoft Purview workloads.\\r\\n8+ years of experience\\r\\n
