- Senior Packet Core operations Engineer
- The core mission of Packet Core operations is to build and manage a robust, standardized, and flexible to revolutionize how mobile networks are built and operated by embracing cloud-native principles and open technologies. Key Responsibilities
- "Responsible for the day-to-day operation and support of MME, SGW, PGW, SMF, AMF, UPF nodes.
- Possess a solid understanding of Diameter, GTP & S1Ap Protocol.
- Troubleshoot incidents to identify the root cause and ensure swift and effective resolution.
- Leverage Kubernetes for networking and container orchestration, ensuring smooth integration and automation with network infrastructure.
- Demonstrate an understanding of cloud basics, including cloud networking and the ability to automate network-related tasks in a cloud environment.
- Perform regular technical analysis to ensure the optimization, readiness, and quality of nodes.
- Collaborate with internal teams, and vendors to resolve escalated technical issues and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure timely and accurate incident reporting, documentation, and communication to stakeholders.
- Identify performance bottlenecks, capacity issues, and potential service impacts.
- Implement optimization strategies to enhance network efficiency, call success rates, and user experience.
- Provide operational support for new service launches, network expansions, and technology trials.
- Plan, schedule, and execute complex network changes, upgrades, and configurations on Packet Core elements with minimal service disruption.
- Collaborate with planning, engineering, and project teams on network design, deployment, and integration activities."
Skill Requirements
