Job Summary

Network Data SME (AKIPS Preferred)
Location: Noida, India (On-site)
Experience: 5-8 Years
Role Summary
The Network Data SME will be responsible for managing enterprise network monitoring, reporting,
analytics, and operational visibility across LAN, WAN, wireless, and infrastructure environments.
The role requires hands-on experience with network monitoring platforms, network performance
analysis, and operational support. AKIPS experience is preferred; however, candidates with
experience in comparable enterprise monitoring platforms are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities
• Administer and support enterprise network monitoring platforms, including AKIPS or equivalent
monitoring tools.
• Configure and maintain device discovery, monitoring policies, alerts, thresholds, dashboards, and
reports.
• Monitor and troubleshoot network infrastructure including routers, switches, WAN links, wireless
access points, and related network components.
• Analyze network performance, availability, utilization, latency, packet loss, interface errors, and
device health metrics.
• Perform root cause analysis, trend analysis, and provide recommendations for service
improvements and operational efficiency.
• Support integration of monitoring data with reporting, analytics, and ITSM platforms utilizing APIs,
scripts, and automated workflows.
• Validate monitoring coverage, ensure data quality, and maintain monitoring standards and
documentation.
• Participate in incident, problem, and change management activities related to network operations.
• Collaborate with network engineering, operations, and customer teams to resolve network issues
and improve monitoring capabilities.
• Develop operational reports and dashboards to provide actionable insights for stakeholders and
leadership teams.
Required Experience
• 5-8 years of experience in Network Operations, Network Monitoring, LAN/WAN Support, or
Network Engineering.
• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience administering an enterprise Network Monitoring System
(NMS).
• Strong understanding of LAN/WAN technologies, routing and switching concepts, TCP/IP, SNMP,
Syslog, and network monitoring protocols.
• Experience with AKIPS, SolarWinds, LogicMonitor, PRTG, Zabbix, Nagios, ManageEngine, or
equivalent monitoring platforms is preferred.
• Experience working with network performance reporting, analytics, and operational dashboards.
• Exposure to scripting, APIs, Power BI, ServiceNow, Splunk, or similar analytics platforms is
advantageous.
