Job Summary

The Subject Matter Expert (Support & Ops) plays a critical role in ensuring the timely and effective resolution of escalated incidents within the Support & Operations domain. This position focuses on maintaining high-quality standards and customer satisfaction while leveraging advanced expertise in Postgre Administration and PostgreMS SQL to drive operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

1. Ensure on-time resolution and quality compliance of escalated tickets and incidents by utilizing Postgre Administration and PostgreMS SQL skills to adhere to agreed SLAs.
2. Mentor team members and administrators by providing guidance on PostgreSQL best practices, preparing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and maintaining comprehensive documentation to promote knowledge sharing.
3. Validate Change Order Implementation Plans and assess Human Error Compliance while participating in capacity planning to optimize resource utilization and operational efficiency.
4. Actively engage in customer meetings to understand issues faced by clients, ensuring positive feedback and satisfaction through effective communication and problem-solving.
5. Conduct Root Cause Analysis and Trend Analysis using PostgreSQL to validate findings and prepare detailed reports for presentation to key business stakeholders, facilitating informed decision-making
6. HandsOn experience on HA, DR deployment on (MSSQL, MySQL, Oracle and Postgre)
7. Database Migration and Optimization expertise on (MSSQL, MySQL, Oracle and Postgre)
8. Database Performance management on (MSSQL, MySQL, Oracle and Postgre)
9. Database Consolidation and Capacity management (MSSQL, MySQL, Oracle and Postgre)

Skill Requirements

1. Proficient in MSSQL, MySQL, Oracle and Postgre Design and Architectire
2. Extensive knowledge and understanding of database management and optimization (MSSQL, MySQL, Oracle and Postgre).
3. Strong analytical skills for conducting Root Cause and Trend Analysis.
4. Excellent communication and presentation skills to liaise with business stakeholders.
5. Familiarity with creating and maintaining SOPs and documentation.
6. HandsOn experience on HA, DR deployment on (MSSQL, MySQL, Oracle and Postgre)
7. Database Migration and Optimization expertise on (MSSQL, MySQL, Oracle and Postgre)
