Job Summary

You will be responsible for the end-to-end stability of environments ranging from legacy 12c instances to modern 19c deployments. This is not just a maintenance role; we need a proactive expert who can identify bottlenecks before they cause downtime and communicate technical risks effectively across diverse departments.\\\\r\\\\n\\\\r\\\\n \\\\r\\\\n\\\\r\\\\nKey Responsibilities\\\\r\\\\n\\\\r\\\\nPerformance Engineering: Go beyond basic monitoring to perform deep-dive bottleneck analysis, SQL tuning, and proactive health checks to ensure 99.9% uptime.\\\\r\\\\n\\\\r\\\\n \\\\r\\\\n\\\\r\\\\nLifecycle Management: Manage seamless patching, upgrades, and migrations across Oracle versions 12c through 19c.\\\\r\\\\n\\\\r\\\\n \\\\r\\\\n\\\\r\\\\nHigh Availability: Configure and maintain Oracle Real Application Clusters (RAC) and Data Guard for robust disaster recovery and load balancing.\\\\r\\\\n\\\\r\\\\n \\\\r\\\\n\\\\r\\\\nCross-Functional Collaboration: Serve as the primary technical point of contact for developers, systems engineers, and stakeholders to align database architecture with business goals.\\\\r\\\\n\\\\r\\\\n \\\\r\\\\n\\\\r\\\\nStability & Automation: Develop scripts and processes to automate routine maintenance and improve system predictability.\\\\r\\\\n\\\\r\\\\n \\\\r\\\\n\\\\r\\\\nTechnical Requirements\\\\r\\\\n\\\\r\\\\nVersion Expertise: Extensive hands-on experience with Oracle 12c, 18c, and 19c architecture.\\\\r\\\\n\\\\r\\\\n \\\\r\\\\n\\\\r\\\\nTroubleshooting: Mastery of AWR, ADDM, and ASH reports to diagnose complex performance issues.\\\\r\\\\n\\\\r\\\\n \\\\r\\\\n\\\\r\\\\nMigration: Proven track record of upgrading databases across versions with minimal business disruption.\\\\r\\\\n\\\\r\\\\n \\\\r\\\\n\\\\r\\\\nSecurity: Solid understanding of Oracle security features, including TDE (Transparent Data Encryption) and user auditing.\\\\r\\\\n\\\\r\\\\n \\\\r\\\\n\\\\r\\\\nEnvironment: Experience in both On-Premise and Cloud/Hybrid environments is highly preferred.\\\\r\\\\n\\\\r\\\\n \\\\r\\\\n\\\\r\\\\nConsulting & Soft Skills\\\\r\\\\n\\\\r\\\\nMandatory Communication: Ability to translate complex database metrics into actionable insights for non-technical leadership.\\\\r\\\\n\\\\r\\\\n \\\\r\\\\n\\\\r\\\\nTeam Integration: Experience working within Agile or DevOps frameworks alongside multiple engineering teams.\\\\r\\\\n\\\\r\\\\n \\\\r\\\\n\\\\r\\\\nProactive Mindset: A \\\\\\\"\\\\\\\"detective\\\\\\\"\\\\\\\" approach to systems—looking for trends that indicate future failure points.\\\\\\\"\\\\r\\\\n

Key Responsibilities

1. Ensure Timely Resolution And Quality Compliance Of Escalated Tickets Related To Oracle Exadata And Database Administration In Line With Established Slas, Leveraging Expertise To Analyze Complex Issues Effectively.
2. Mentor Team Members And Administrators By Preparing Standard Operating Procedures And Maintaining Effective Documentation, While Also Facilitating Knowledge Sharing Sessions To Enhance Team Capabilities.
3. Validate Change Order Implementation Plans And Ensure Compliance With Human Error Protocols, Actively Participating In Capacity Planning To Optimize Resource Allocation.
4. Foster Positive Customer Relationships By Actively Participating In Meetings To Gather Feedback And Understand Any Ongoing Issues, Ensuring Swift Resolution And Customer Satisfaction.
5. Validate And Present Analyses, Such As Root Cause Analysis And Trend Analysis, To Key Business Stakeholders, Using Insights To Drive Performance Improvements And Operational Excellence.
