Job Summary

Technical project Manager We are seeking a Technical Project Manager – IT Infrastructure who brings a strong foundation in Data Engineering, has worked hands-on in technical roles, and has grown into operations and program management. You will serve as the single point of accountability for infrastructure service delivery — driving stability, transformation, and continuous improvement across a complex, enterprise-scale environment.

Job Description : PMP, ITIL v4, CKA/CKAD, VMware VCP, or AWS/Azure/GCP — Certifications\\\\r\\\\n▸ Terraform, Ansible, or Pulumi — Infrastructure as Code\\\\r\\\\n▸ FinOps, vendor management, or compliance frameworks (SOC 2, ISO 27001) — Additional Exposure 

Key Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Program & Project Delivery ▸ Own end-to-end delivery of infrastructure projects across Compute, Storage, Backup, OS, Virtualization, and Container platforms. ▸ Manage project plans, risk registers, timelines, budgets, and stakeholder communications across concurrent initiatives. Incident, Problem & Change Management ▸ Lead Major Incident Management — coordinate resolution, drive escalations, and communicate status to leadership. ▸ Own Problem Management including structured RCA facilitation, corrective action tracking, and stakeholder closure. ▸ Govern Change Management — review CABs, assess risk, and enforce change windows and rollback readiness. Service Improvement & Operational Excellence ▸ Lead Service Improvement Plans (SIPs) and operational optimization programs targeting availability and MTTR reduction. ▸ Define and report on SLAs, SLOs, and KPIs; identify toil and drive automation and process standardization. Architecture & Technical Guidance ▸ Participate in architecture discussions as a technically credible voice — aligning platform decisions to operational realities. ▸ Guide teams through platform upgrades, technology migrations, and infrastructure lifecycle management. DC Modernization & Platform Transformation ▸ Support Data Center modernization, virtualization expansion, and container adoption (Kubernetes/Docker/OpenShift). ▸ Partner on cloud and hybrid infrastructure strategies as the environment evolves. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Experience ▸ 5–8+ years in IT infrastructure with a clear path from technical/engineering roles into operations and program management. ▸ Hands-on background in Data Engineering — pipelines, ETL/ELT, distributed platforms (Spark, Kafka, Airflow, or equivalent). ▸ Proven experience managing infrastructure operations or programs at enterprise scale. Technical Knowledge ▸ Compute, SAN/NAS Storage, Backup & Recovery, Linux/Windows OS, VMware/Hyper-V Virtualization, Kubernetes/Docker Containers. ▸ Familiarity with ITSM tools (ServiceNow, JIRA) and monitoring platforms (Splunk, Datadog, Grafana, or equivalent). Program Management ▸ Proficiency in Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery models. ▸ Strong RCA facilitation, risk management, and executive communication skills. ▸ Ability to drive clarity and momentum in ambiguous, high-pressure environments.
