Job Summary

Job Summary : The Senior Vulnerability Remediation Governance Specialist will lead vulnerability remediation governance activities, drive SLA compliance, manage stakeholder engagements, oversee reporting and governance forums, and provide strategic oversight of remediation performance. The role acts as the primary interface between Cyber Security, Risk, Compliance, and Technology teams for vulnerability remediation governance.



Key Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities : • 8+ years’ of Strong expertise in Vulnerability Management and Remediation Governance. \\r\\n• Hands-on experience using ServiceNow Vulnerability Response (VR).\\r\\n• Strong understanding of Qualys vulnerability reporting and risk prioritization.\\r\\n• Experience leading governance reviews, stakeholder meetings and managing enterprise-scale remediation programs.\\r\\n• Strong analytical, presentation, and executive communication skills.\\r\\n\\r\\n

 

Skill Requirements

Skill Requirement : • Own and drive the vulnerability remediation governance process across supported environments.\\r\\n• Establish and maintain remediation governance standards and procedures.\\r\\n• Ensure remediation activities align with client vulnerability management policies and regulatory requirements.\\r\\n• Monitor vulnerability exposure and risk reduction across the environment.\\r\\n• Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the remediation process.\\r\\n• Act as the primary point of contact for remediation governance activities.\\r\\n• Facilitate weekly operational reviews and monthly governance meetings.\\r\\n• Engage with infrastructure leadership, application owners, security teams, and risk stakeholders.\\r\\n• Coordinate with auditors and regulatory stakeholders during reviews.\\r\\n• Review remediation plans for Critical and High severity vulnerabilities.\\r\\n• Own development and publication of governance reports and KPI dashboards.\\r\\n• Present remediation posture and risk trends to leadership teams.\\r\\n• Support regulatory and internal audit requests.\\r\\n• Drive governance and workflow adoption within ServiceNow Vulnerability Response.\\r\\n• Manage remediation lifecycle tracking and reporting through ServiceNow VR.\\r\\n• Define reporting requirements and dashboard enhancements.\\r\\n• Collaborate on process improvements across vulnerability management workflows.\\r\\n

Other Requirement : • Shall have good verbal/written communication skills\\r\\n• Good problem-solving capability, team player, good communication and documentation skills.\\r\\n• Should be willing to work in 24x7 environments\\r\\n• Incumbents should carry continual system improvement mindset and able to demonstrate in work.\\r\\n• Should have clients facing technical analysis report representation skills\\r\\n\\r\\n
