SME - Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Red Hat Satellite, Red Hat Cluster

Job Summary

Should have around 6 to 8 years of experience and proficiency in managing and maintaining Linux environment, will be responsible for:-

 

Skills Required

  • Expertise installing, configuring, and supporting the RHEL 7- 10 operating systems
  • Expertise and knowledge of Hypervisor like Vmware & Nutanix.
  • Expertise in file system, LVM and Swap administration.
  • Expertise in troubleshooting and RCA's.
  • Expertise in kernel fine-tuning & troubleshooting.
  • Expertise in NFS, CIFS mount.
  • Expertise in AWS & Azure Cloud.
  • Expertise in Puppet.
  • Expertise in handling P1 & P2 incidents and perform RCA.
  • Good understanding of Network traffic analysis and should able to understand TCP IP dump.
  • Excellent knowledge of ITIL process for incident, change and problem management.
  • Strong communication skills are imperative, including assertiveness and taking ownership of issues and requests.

 

Should be willing to provide 24 X 7 On call support (Based on schedule)

 

Possess the ability to script/automate spot solutions, providing a significant advantage.

This role operates independently with minimal managerial guidance, and there is potential for mentoring other Infrastructure Engineers. Successful candidates will demonstrate a commitment to maintaining high standards of delivery and delighting customers.

 

 Skills good to have

  • Basic Knowledge of Ansible & Terraform 
  • Basic Knowledge of Azure Dev-ops & Github.
  • Basic Knowledge of Network tools like VPN, Firewall etc.
