Job Summary
Full SAP life-cycle experience using HANA, DB2 database (Desirable) technologies\r\n\r\n· Strong hold on SAP NetWeaver 7 or higher\r\n\r\n· Good experience on Basis, OS and DB flavours\r\n\r\n· Minimum 2 years specialist technical skill in one or more SAP areas (5+ Years recommend)\r\n\r\n· Proven SAP experience running on HANA (must), DB2 (desirable) platforms\r\n\r\n· Strong Communication skills, project management skills\r\n\r\n· Good team player
Key Responsibilities
As a member of the ECS Delivery Productization the associate will be responsible for development and maintenance of Live Procedures handled by SAF team.\r\n\r\n\r\nThe Procedure Expert needs the skill set required to support a range of SAP systems including ABAP, Java stack, Non-NetWeaver systems. The associate would be responsible to Plan / Validate / Maintain the Procedures according to the ECS standard and sometimes non-standard procedures as requested by the stakeholder.\r\nAssociate will be majorly responsible for\r\n\r\n\r\n· Monitor the Procedure execution and identify the task errors and reason\r\n\r\n· Get feedback from Delivery Team, SEO and Service Owners and identify scope of Procedure enhancement.\r\n\r\n· Prepare and maintain the ‘Task failure analysis report’ and track ‘First time Success Rate’.\r\n\r\n· Propose a solution and suggest modification in Procedure by discussing with PO’s.\r\n\r\n· Drive the procedure enhancement by coordinating with developers / SEO / PO / Developer.\r\n\r\n· Coordinate with developers and support them with required input.\r\n\r\n· Perform Validation and report the issues encountered while running the procedures in VLAB environment with the concerned procedure owner to ensure the issue doesn’t reoccur in PROD Environment.\r\n\r\n· Sharing the feedback of the Task documentation if unclear or needs to be modified\r\n\r\n· First level of issue analysis encountered in the procedure by troubleshooting the underlying procedure along with the PO by understanding the basic ECS architecture, newly released features of the tools involved etc\r\n\r\n· Support Delivery colleagues in case of Procedure failure and propose immediate work around\r\n\r\n· Proactive follow-up on the tickets created for the issues encountered\r\n\r\n· Knowledge sharing within the team and with larger audience of the technical and process aspects\r\n\r\n· Maintaining documentation of the above deliverables
Skill Requirements
Understanding Backup & Restore concepts of SAP systems on various hyperscalers like AWS, AZURE, GCP, IBM etc.\r\n\r\n· Understand the SAF Basis Team functioning and process model.\r\n\r\n· Knowledge of ECS support tools - LVM, SPC, JIRA, CRT, Customer Launch Pad, Service Now, TIC etc.\r\n\r\n· Develop a deep understanding of the Enterprise Cloud solution architecture and productization model along with the tools within 6-8 months of onboarding.\r\n\r\n· Associate should be capable of delivering the targets in Scope of work however is not limited to it solely\r\n\r\n· Know the point of contact in each team for issue resolution\r\n\r\n· Capable to independently troubleshoot, reproduce, determine the root cause for repetitive issues\r\n\r\n· Other General OPO support activities include\r\n\r\n· Handling of Run procedure automation failure with PO/SEO/SMEs\r\n\r\n· Good understanding of the service lifecycle and deep idea on the automation cycles\r\n\r\n· Basic understanding of Landscape Virtualization Manager is needed\r\n\r\n\r\n· Strong Basis knowledge (ABAP, JAVA, non-NetWeaver etc) with experience
