The role will manage SolarWinds-based monitoring for servers, databases, network devices, virtualization, and infrastructure components, while also supporting OpsRamp event management, alert correlation, incident integration, and operational visibility. The position requires strong hands-on technical expertise, disciplined process adherence, and the ability to work with infrastructure, service management, vendor, and client teams to improve monitoring maturity, reduce alert noise, and strengthen operational reliability. Key Responsibilities • Administer and manage the SolarWinds platform, including Orion modules such as NPM, NCM, NTA, SAM, IPAM, VNQM, and related monitoring components. • Perform device onboarding, modification, removal, refresh, grouping, and classification for servers, network devices, databases, virtualization platforms, storage, and infrastructure components. • Configure, maintain, and optimize alerts, thresholds, custom properties, dashboards, maps, views, reports, node groups, credentials, accounts, and polling engine assignments. • Monitor SolarWinds platform health, license usage, polling loads, database performance, agent status, and overall monitoring effectiveness. • Support monitoring for vCenter, ESXi hosts, hardware health, CPU, memory, datastore capacity, network interfaces, traffic utilization, and infrastructure availability. • Coordinate with infrastructure teams for monitoring requirements, device additions, decommissions, threshold changes, alert suppression, and maintenance windows. • Support SolarWinds integrations with ITSM and event management platforms, including automated incident creation and event forwarding. • Apply minor updates, patches, configuration changes, and platform housekeeping activities in line with change management processes. • Maintain monitoring standards, naming conventions, audit readiness, documentation, SOPs, and knowledge base articles. • Administer and support OpsRamp for event management, unified observability, alert ingestion, correlation, deduplication, enrichment, escalation, and incident integration. • Configure policies, event rules, integrations, templates, notification profiles, dashboards, and reports to improve operational visibility and reduce alert fatigue. • Manage integrations between OpsRamp, SolarWinds, ServiceNow, and other monitoring or ITSM tools using REST APIs, webhooks, SNMP, agents, collectors, or gateway-based connectivity. • Support event-to-incident workflows, auto-ticketing, alert lifecycle management, incident updates, closure logic, and escalation processes. • Work with operations teams to identify noisy alerts, recurring incidents, correlation opportunities, monitoring gaps, and automation candidates. • Participate in monitoring maturity initiatives, including service mapping, CI relationship improvement, root-cause visibility, and single-pane-of-glass operational reporting. • Provide L2/L3 support for complex monitoring incidents, escalations, outages, and performance issues across tools and infrastructure monitoring layers. • Collaborate with network, Wintel, Linux, VMware, storage, database, cloud, service desk, command center, and vendor teams to resolve monitoring and event management issues. • Support
