Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced DevOps/Platform Automation Engineer with strong expertise in Harness, Ansible, and REST APIs to design, automate, and optimize CI/CD and infrastructure delivery processes. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience implementing enterprise-grade deployment pipelines, infrastructure automation, application integration, and platform engineering practices. Harness experience is mandatory and non-negotiable. The role requires collaboration with development, infrastructure, security, and operations teams to deliver scalable, secure, and highly available solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Harness. Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and deployment processes using Ansible. Develop and integrate solutions utilizing REST APIs for automation and system interoperability. Troubleshoot deployment, pipeline, and infrastructure-related issues. Implement DevSecOps best practices, release governance, and deployment strategies. Collaborate with engineering teams to improve deployment efficiency and reliability. Create technical documentation, standards, and operational runbooks. Support cloud and hybrid infrastructure automation initiatives.

Skill Requirements

Mandatory: Strong hands-on experience with Harness (Pipeline development, CD/CI, deployment strategies, templates, connectors, governance, and monitoring). Advanced proficiency in Ansible for automation and configuration management. Experience developing and consuming REST APIs. Strong understanding of CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, and DevOps principles. Experience with Git-based version control systems. Knowledge of Linux/Unix administration. Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP. Scripting experience using Python, Shell, or similar technologies.

Other Requirements

Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities. Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
