Job Summary

Detailed description of work task to be carried out\\\\r\\\\n\\\\r\\\\nSymantec NetBackup SME, This role is to increase capability of the backup BAU team to support a project related to NAS solution change by also changing backup policy type from NDMP to DNAS. Required knowledge of specific backup software and hardware (NB and DD) for particular workload (NDMP & DNAS).\\\\r\\\\n\\\\r\\\\nMust-have knowledge and experience\\\\r\\\\n\\\\r\\\\nHands-on NetBackup deployment, maintenance and troubleshooting experience\\\\r\\\\nExperience with both NDMP and DNAS backup policy design, configuration and troubleshooting\\\\r\\\\nHands-on Dell Data Domain administration, ideally with NetBackup\\\\r\\\\nGood at capacity management, performance optimization and project management\\\\r\\\\nGood at documenting, training others and handing over

Key Responsibilities

Implement and troubleshoot NDMP → DNAS backup migration Manage and optimize NetBackup and Data Domain environments Handle capacity, performance, and backup issues Document processes and provide team training/hand-ove

Skill Requirements

 Hands-on NetBackup (deployment & troubleshooting) Experience with NDMP & DNAS backup policies Dell Data Domain administration Strong in performance tuning, capacity planning & documentation
