Job Summary
The VMware L3 Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, managing, and troubleshooting enterprise VMware infrastructure. The role provides Level-3 support, leads complex virtualization projects, drives automation initiatives, performs root cause analysis, and ensures high availability of virtualized environments
Key Responsibilities
10-12 years of experience with VMWare Virtualization and Automation Extensive Experience with Managing and upgrading ESXi hosts, vCenter Servers, ESXi Networking Linux/Windows Servers Advance level knowledge of vLAN, Switching, NIC Teaming, and policies are required Should be able to plan and implement ESXi hosts security patches/fixes Hands on Experience with VMWare Suite of tools (vRealize Operations Manager, vRealize Automation, vRealize Orchestration, vRealize Network/Log Insight) Experience with leading Data Center OEM Preferred (VMWare, HPE, NetApp, Dell EMC) Hands on Experience with HP SimpliVity is required but experience in other Hyper-Converged will be added advantage Extensive knowledge and understanding of Datacenter technologies and architecture Should have good understanding of Backup Technologies (NetBackup, N2WS etc.) Identify and solve critical problems and prevent them from reoccurring via root cause analysis and automation Ability to present on topics pertaining to the Architecture, design, and implementation of Hardware Technologies.

Good knowledge of Physical DataCenter, Public Cloud Infrastructure, Process and Technology Ability to work well L2/L3 teams with positive attitude and produces consistently high-quality results Excellent written and verbal communication skills Lead Process to gather, understand and document unique customer requirements Design and delivery complex virtualization and data center architectures and act as Primary Point of contact for troubleshooting support during project engagements VMWare VCP certification is preferable
