AutoRek Software Engineer
AutoRek Application:
AutoRek is an automated software reconciliations tool used within LBG to provide robust financial controls and mitigate financial and operational risk. It is built on a MS SQL database which eliminates the use of spreadsheets, giving improved governance and enables the business to focus on value-add tasks and improve regulatory reporting processes.
The Role:
Working as part of a multi-disciplined team to implement and support complex reconciliation solutions, the role will encompass using a variety of software tools and analytical skills to deliver high quality, fully functional reconciliation processes to the finance business community.
Involved in the full end-to-end project lifecycle, the software engineer is responsible for the design/development/configuration of the solution and will also provide technical support and guidance during the design/analysis and testing phases, as well as delivering training and post implementation support to the end users.

- Designing solutions or sub-sets of solutions at a complex level & scale, with experience of the following:
- Visio
- PowerPoint
- Word
- Excel
- Documenting and building solutions from high-level specifications or requirements.
- Ability to collaborate closely with clients and analysts to establish requirements and forming them into viable outline and detailed designs:
- MS SQL Server
- Experience of MS Development tools : SSMS, Visual Studio, Report Builder
- Complex SQL scripting on tables/views/stored procedures/functions.
- Strong SQL analysis and issue resolution skills.
- Experience using large/complex databases.
- SSRS report development.
- Ability to build scalable and performant SQL procedures.

Key Responsibilities
2. Design and develop ssas cubes, dimensions, and measures based on business needs.
3. Optimize ssas models for improved query performance and data accessibility.
4. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to ssas solutions and data discrepancies.
5. Implement security measures to ensure data integrity and confidentiality.
6. Provide technical support and guidance to end-users on ssas functionalities.
7. Stay updated on the latest ssas features and recommend enhancements for existing systems.
Skill Requirements
2. Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and etl processes.
3. Experience in optimizing ssas cubes for performance enhancements.
4. Ability to write complex mdx and dax queries for data analysis.
5. Familiarity with data visualization tools such as power bi or tableau.
6. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
7. Strong communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively with cross functional teams.
