Job Summary

The Senior Developer specializing in SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS) is responsible for developing, and maintaining SSAS solutions to empower data driven decision-making within the organization. The role involves collaborating within team to implement SSAS solutions that enhance data modeling and analysis capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

1. Develop multidimensional and tabular models using sql server analysis services (ssas) to support complex business requirements.
2. Optimize ssas cubes and queries for improved performance and scalability.
3. Design and implement etl processes to populate and refresh ssas models with data from various sources.
4. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to ssas solutions to ensure data accuracy and reliability.
5. Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and provide technical expertise on ssas implementations.
6. Stay updated on the latest ssas features and best practices to enhance data analytics capabilities within the organization.

Skill Requirements

1. Proficiency in developing ssas multidimensional and tabular models.
2. Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and etl processes.
3. Experience in optimizing ssas cubes and queries for performance.
4. Knowledge of sql server integration services (ssis) for data extraction, transformation, and loading.
5. Familiarity with sql server reporting services (ssrs) for creating and delivering interactive reports.
6. Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
7. Strong communication and interpersonal abilities for effective collaboration with team members and stakeholders.

Other Requirements

1.Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE) Data Management and Analytics certification is a plus.
