Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Salesforce Data Cloud Consultant to design, implement, and optimize data-driven customer engagement solutions. The candidate will work across Salesforce ecosystem components (Sales, Service, Marketing Cloud) to deliver unified customer profiles, segmentation, and activation use cases leveraging Data Cloud capabilities.


Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement Customer 360 solutions using Salesforce Data Cloud
  • Perform data ingestion from multiple sources (CRM, external systems, APIs)
  • Configure and manage data modeling (DMOs, DLOs) and transformation processes
  • Implement identity resolution and unified customer profiles
  • Build audience segmentation and activation strategies for downstream systems (SFMC, CRM)
  • Develop and manage calculated insights and data-driven analytics
  • Integrate Data Cloud with Marketing Cloud, CRM, and external platforms
  • Ensure data governance, quality, and security compliance
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders for requirement gathering and solution design
  • Support campaign enablement, personalization, and customer journeys
  • Optimize data pipelines and troubleshoot performance issues

Required Skills

  • Strong experience in Salesforce Data Cloud / Customer Data Platform (CDP)
  • Hands-on expertise in:
    • Data ingestion & transformation
    • Identity resolution
    • Segmentation & activation
  • Experience with:
    • Salesforce CRM (Sales/Service Cloud)
    • Salesforce Marketing Cloud (preferred)
  • Solid knowledge of:
    • SQL, APIs, and data integration patterns
    • Data modeling and data architecture
  • Understanding of customer data platforms and marketing use cases
  • Experience working in Agile environments

Preferred Skills

  • Salesforce certifications:
    • Salesforce Data Cloud Consultant
  • Experience in:
    • Customer 360 implementation
    • Campaign orchestration and personalization
    • Data governance frameworks
  • Exposure to tools like:
    • Tableau / Analytics / Data Visualization
  • Prior experience in insurance, healthcare, or BFSI domain (useful for Guardian context)
