Job Summary

The Senior Technical Lead will be responsible for overseeing salesforce administration, salesforce apex development, and salesforce lightning. They will play a key role in managing technical aspects of Salesforce projects, including customization, configuration, and development, to meet business requirements and objectives effectively.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead and guide a team of salesforce administrators and developers in the implementation and customization of salesforce solutions.
2. Design, develop, test, and deploy salesforce applications using apex code, visualforce, lightning components, and other related technologies.
3. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, and provide technical expertise to ensure successful project delivery.
4. Configure salesforce platform based on best practices and ensure data integrity and security.
5. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, performance problems, and system errors in salesforce applications.
6. Stay updated on salesforce releases and new features to leverage them for enhancing existing solutions and developing new functionalities.
7. Conduct code reviews, performance tuning, and optimization to ensure high-quality and efficient salesforce implementations.

Skill Requirements

• 6+ years of Salesforce experience with a strong focus on data migration, data management, or ETL delivery.
• Deep hands-on expertise with Salesforce Data Loader (CLI and GUI), Data Import Wizard, and Bulk API / Bulk API 2.0.
• Experience with at least one enterprise ETL/integration tool used with Salesforce (Informatica, MuleSoft Anypoint, Jitterbit, Talend, Boomi, or similar).
• Strong understanding of the Salesforce data model — standard/custom objects, relationships (lookup, master-detail), record types, sharing rules, and validation rules — and how each affects load order and error handling.
• Proven experience with large-volume migrations (multi-million record loads), including performance tuning and governor-limit management.
• Strong SQL and data transformation skills for mapping, cleansing, and reconciliation.
• Experience with data quality practices: deduplication, standardization, and survivorship rules across multiple source systems.
• Familiarity with the Salesforce security model as it pertains to migrated data (field-level security, sharing rules, record ownership).
• Track record running mock loads, dry runs, and reconciliation reporting to validate migration accuracy before go-live.
• Experience leading cutover planning and execution for production go-lives.
• Excellent stakeholder management and documentation skills — able to translate technical migration risk into business-readable status updates.

We are looking for a Senior Salesforce Data Migration Consultant / Lead to own data migration strategy and execution across Salesforce implementations, org consolidations, and legacy system cutovers. The ideal candidate has deep hands-on expertise with Salesforce Data Loader, Bulk API, and enterprise ETL tools, combined with the judgment to design load sequencing, data quality rules, and cutover plans that hold up under production volume and tight go-live windows.
