Salesforce Apex Senior Technical Lead

Job Summary

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES   

 

Establish and maintain relationships with the business and technology stakeholders who make decisions regarding product capabilities and priorities. Serve as a liaison between the business and the product team as the voice of the customer to address and communicate their needs and concerns to the product team 

Work within an Agile software development process to execute against a planned product roadmap, driving outcomes with a measurable level of impact. 

Support translating the product strategy and vision into what the product team must bear in mind every day to ensure they are building the right solutions and features. 

Lead a cross-functional product team of 5-8 people that is accountable for delivering on sprint goals 

Develop user stories and epics that the product team will implement as solutions that meet business needs. 

Break down vision into individual achievable deliverables and continuously groom with the business and full product team. 

Collaborate with product delivery teams including day-to-day coordination of backlog priorities and allocation of work to the team. 

Own the iterative and agile product delivery lifecycle end-to-end inclusive of, but not limited to, requirements gathering and scoping, research and usability engineering, prototyping, development, testing, quality assurance, deployment, training and support, and maintenance.  

Create materials that help ensure alignment and awareness of product development efforts within core internal groups 

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead and mentor a team of salesforce developers in designing and implementing solutions on the salesforce platform
2. Develop custom solutions using salesforce apex, visualforce pages, and lightning components
3. Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and design efficient and scalable solutions
4. Perform code reviews, troubleshoot issues, and provide technical guidance to ensure high-quality deliverables
5. Manage integrations with third-party systems and tools to enhance salesforce functionality
6. Stay updated on salesforce best practices, new features, and technologies to drive continuous improvement and innovation
7. Conduct training sessions and workshops for team members to enhance their salesforce development skills

Skill Requirements

1. In-depth knowledge of salesforce platform including salesforce apex, visualforce, lightning components, and salesforce declarative tools
2. Proficiency in developing and customizing salesforce solutions to meet business requirements
3. Strong understanding of salesforce data model, security model, and integration capabilities
4. Ability to lead a team of developers, provide technical guidance, and drive project delivery
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with stakeholders and cross functional teams
6. Problem-solving skills with a proactive and innovative mindset to drive continuous improvement

Other Requirements

1.Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I and Salesforce Certified Platform Developer II are preferred
