Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Software Engineer to join our dynamic Salesforce DevSecOps team. As a key member of the team, you will play a critical role in designing, building, and maintaining secure, reliable, and high-quality CI/CD pipelines for our Salesforce applications. You will work closely with developers, testers, and operations teams to implement and improve DevSecOps practices, ensuring efficient and secure deployments.
Key Responsibilities
- Pipeline Development and Maintenance: Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable CI/CD pipelines using tools like Copado (or other relevant tools).
- Automation: Automate various aspects of the development lifecycle, including building, testing, deployment, and monitoring.
- Testing and Quality Assurance: Develop and maintain automated tests (unit, integration, and end-to-end) to ensure high-quality code and deployments.
- Security Integration: Implement and maintain security best practices within the CI/CD pipeline, including static and dynamic code analysis, vulnerability scanning, and security testing.
- Monitoring and Alerting: Configure and maintain monitoring tools to track pipeline performance, identify potential issues, and trigger alerts as needed.
- Collaboration: Work closely with development, testing, and operations teams to ensure smooth and efficient workflows.
- Problem Solving: Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to the CI/CD pipeline and deployment processes.
- Documentation: Maintain clear and concise documentation of pipeline configurations, processes, and troubleshooting steps.
- Continuous Improvement: Actively seek opportunities to improve the efficiency, security, and reliability of the CI/CD pipeline.
- Innovation: Research and evaluate new DevSecOps technologies and methodologies to enhance the team's capabilities.
Skill Requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with Salesforce development and deployment processes.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Copado, Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Groovy, or Bash.
- Understanding of DevOps and DevSecOps principles and best practices.
- Experience with automated testing frameworks and methodologies.
- Familiarity with security best practices and vulnerability management.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Salesforce certifications (e.g., Platform Developer I/II) and/or Copado certifications are a plus.
