Selenium Automation Tester - Cucumber, Java

Job Summary

The Automation Tester will be responsible for implementing automated test scripts using cucumber, selenium, and Java. The primary objective is to ensure the quality and efficiency of software applications through automated testing.

Key Responsibilities

1. Develop and maintain automation scripts using cucumber, selenium, and java
2. Identify, analyze, and document issues or defects in software applications
3. Collaborate within team to ensure testing requirements are met
4. Execute test cases and analyze results to ensure software quality
5. Participate in test planning, estimation, and strategy development
6. Provide inputs for improvements in testing processes
7. Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging technologies in test automation

Skill Requirements

1. Knowledge of using cucumber for behavior driven development
2. Familiarity with selenium for automated testing of web applications
3. Good programming skills in java for test script development
4. Understanding of software testing principles and methodologies
5. Ability to work effectively in a fast paced agile environment
6. Analytical and problem-solving skills
7. Good communication and teamwork abilities

Other Requirements

1.ISTQB Certified Tester Foundation Level (preferred but not mandatory)
