Job Summary

The Test Specialist (Selenium, Java) at HCL is responsible for ensuring the quality of software products by designing, implementing, and executing automated test scripts using Selenium and Java. The main objective is to identify defects and provide recommendations for improvements during the software development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

1. Develop and execute automation scripts using selenium webdriver and java programming.
2. Collaborate with cross functional teams to analyze requirements and create test cases.
3. Identify, report, and track software defects to closure.
4. Implement automated testing processes to streamline testing activities.
5. Participate in test planning, estimation, and strategy development.

Skill Requirements

1. Proficiency in selenium webdriver for automated testing.
2. Strong programming skills in java for test script development.
3. Experience in testing web applications and apis.
4. Knowledge of software testing methodologies and best practices.
5. Ability to troubleshoot and debug issues throughout the testing process.
6. Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with team members.
