Job Summary

BigFix Administrator with Scripting Experiences

BigFix Administrator with scripting experience is responsible for managing and maintaining the BigFix platform, ensuring efficient endpoint management and security. This includes tasks like patching, software deployment, and configuration management, often leveraging scripting to automate these processes. They also troubleshoot issues, develop and maintain documentation, and collaborate with other teams. Key Responsibilities: • BigFix Platform Management: Installing, configuring, and maintaining BigFix servers, consoles, and clients. • Patch Management: Implementing and managing security patches and updates across various operating systems (Windows, Linux, macOS). • Software Deployment: Deploying and managing software packages and configurations through BigFix. • Configuration Management: Defining and implementing BigFix policies and procedures. • Scripting: Developing and utilizing scripts (e.g., PowerShell, Bash, Python) for automation of tasks within the BigFix environment. • Troubleshooting: Diagnosing and resolving issues related to BigFix infrastructure and endpoints. • Documentation: Creating and maintaining documentation for processes, configurations, and troubleshooting steps. • Collaboration: Working with cross-functional teams to ensure effective endpoint management. • Monitoring and Optimization: Monitoring system performance and optimizing the BigFix environment.
