Job Summary

 License Compliance & Audits: Monitor software licensing positions (SLP) and conduct regular Effective License Position (ELP) calculations. Support and defend internal/external vendor audits. Lifecycle Management: Manage the complete software asset lifecycle—from procurement and entitlement provisioning to deployment, retirement, and disposal. Cost Optimization & FinOps: Identify cost-saving opportunities by reallocating underutilized licenses and simplifying software portfolios. Tool & Data Management: Utilize SAM discovery and inventory tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Snow Software, Flexera) to accurately track software installations and analyze usage metrics. Vendor & Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with vendors and cross-functional internal teams (e.g., IT Security, Infrastructure, and Finance) to ensure acquisition policies and retention standards are met.
