Job Summary

Print Management & Mercury OMS Engineer (L2)

Key Responsibilities

Printer Fleet & Device Management Support MFP fleet operations including device provisioning, configuration, and lifecycle tracking against the client\'s fleet optimization targets (typical device-to-user ratios of 1:10 to 1:35 depending on site type). Support printer procurement via the shopping-cart ordering process; validate device specifications against the approved catalog and site requirements. Track devices toward lifecycle replacement triggers (72-month standard lifecycle) and coordinate refresh/decommission activities. Mercury OMS & Print Job Management — New Added section: previously entirely absent from the existing generic JD despite Mercury OMS/docuFORM and GPC being the primary print platforms scoped in the Appendix. Support Mercury OMS (docuFORM) print job routing, output management, and print queue administration. Support automated application printing configurations (e.g., SAP, CAD/engineering applications) routed through Mercury OMS. Troubleshoot Global Printer Client (GPC) print-server-less printing issues for end users. Consumables & Certification Compliance — New Added: the Appendix scopes automatic consumables replenishment and Blue Angel/TEC compliance tracking as explicit L2 duties; not previously reflected. Monitor automatic consumables replenishment processes (toner/supplies) and resolve exceptions. Support Typical Electronic Consumption (TEC) and Blue Angel certification compliance tracking for the device fleet. Security & Compliance Support card-reader-based secure/pull-print mandate compliance across supported devices. Support RISE policy (security remediation timelines) adherence for print devices; track and remediate flagged vulnerabilities identified via Qualys. Support IT Shop asset management alignment for print device inventory. Incident & Request Management Handle L2 incidents and service requests for print devices and Mercury OMS; escalate complex issues to L3. Meet SLA and customer satisfaction targets for print services. Billing & Reporting — New Added: Click Price billing (factory printers) is explicitly scoped in the Appendix and was absent from the existing JD. Support Click Price billing model data validation for factory printers. Maintain print service operational documentation and contribute to the standard reporting cadence.
