Senior Administrator - Hardware Asset Management

Job Summary

Asset & Order Management Job description Roles and Responsibilities ASSET MANAGEMENT 1. Assists with Configuration and Asset Management Processes. 2. Experience in ITIL Incident Management, Service Asset and Configuration Management. 3. Use the Configuration Management System to account for all Computing Assets and configurations to provide accurate information on CIs 4. Verify configuration records against the infrastructure and correct any exceptions to provide a sound basis for Incident, Problem and Change Management 5. Ensure compliance with the accurate and timely recording of all Computing asset parameters in the CMDB. 6. Identifying, controlling, maintaining and verifying installed hardware, software, and documentation. 7. Maintain documented process flows and procedures. 8. Support the definition, implementation and execution of asset management policies. 9. Implement asset management control processes to monitor and manage asset reconciliation and asset disposal activities. 10. Partner with IT teams to successfully plan, support, coordinate, and track assets throughout the asset s lifecycle. 11. Coordinate the utilization of asset management systems to analyze, review, and track asset data. 12. Monitor and report on the status of software licensing to ensure compliance with usage standards and license agreements. 13. Partner with management to define cost savings, ensure process compliance, and optimize asset utilization. 14. Collaborate with management to support audit compliance for IT assets. 15. Support the integration and alignment of Asset Management processes with Service Management Functions (Incident, Problem, Change). 16. Ensure appropriate governance is in place for the CMDB to regularly reflect a better accuracy. 17. Ability to analyze performance data to demonstrate the effectiveness of IT processes 18. Ability to work in dynamic environment with changing priorities 19. Excellent communication skills, interpersonal, oral, and written 20. Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. 21. Ability to work well within a team to learn and share knowledge 22. Good knowledge of IT Hardware and Software Asset Management 23. Ability to track tasks, make assignments, and deliver on committed dates and deliverables 24. Competency in process development, execution, and administration 25. Strong analysis, problem solving, and analytical skills 26. Should have good Knowledge on ticketing tools [SNOW, Remedyforce CMDB, BMC Helix Discovery tools]. ORDER MANAGEMENT 1. The OM has responsibility for managing customer order activity through the order fulfillment cycle. Responds to customer inquiries by researching status for shipments, past dues and expedites. 2. Requires excellent verbal and written communication skills, and requires independent analysis, decision-making skills and using prior experience and knowledge of company policies and procedures to resolve non-standard problems. 3. Is required to work with various departments and levels of management to resolve customer issues. 4. Demonstrate expertise in problem solving, bringing new ideas and creative solutions to existing processes and issues. 5. Serve as an escalation point to assist in resolving issues with orders.
