Job Summary

 JD for MQ and Datapower. \\\\r\\\\n\\\\r\\\\nKey Responsibilities:\\\\r\\\\nLead administration, configuration, and tuning of IBM DataPower XI52/XG52 and Gateway appliances.\\\\r\\\\nDesign and implement DataPower services (MPGW, WSP, XML Firewall, Crypto objects).\\\\r\\\\nPerform migration tasks including import/export, firmware upgrades, and certificates management.\\\\r\\\\nEnable/disable probes, perform health checks, and optimize DataPower policies for high availability and performance.\\\\r\\\\nPrepare and maintain build documents, operational runbooks, and SOPs.\\\\r\\\\nWork with security teams to implement SSL/TLS, AAA, and secure key management.\\\\r\\\\nMonitor and troubleshoot issues, perform root cause analysis, and provide L3+ level support.\\\\r\\\\nCollaborate with application, middleware, and DevOps teams on end-to-end integration.\\\\r\\\\nRaise and manage PMRs with IBM for high-priority issues.\\\\r\\\\nEnsure timely delivery of scheduled changes and provide on-call support as needed.\\\\r\\\\n\\\\r\\\\nRequired Skills:\\\\r\\\\n10+ years of experience with IBM DataPower SOA Appliances (XI52, XG52, Gateway).\\\\r\\\\nStrong knowledge of security configurations, SSL certificates, and XML Gateway services.\\\\r\\\\nExpertise in firmware upgrades, network configurations, load balancing, and proxy setups.\\\\r\\\\nProven experience in troubleshooting, debugging, and performance tuning.\\\\r\\\\nHands-on experience in creating reusable templates and automation for DataPower configurations.\\\\r\\\\n\\\\r\\\\nSecondary Skills (Preferred):\\\\r\\\\nStrong expertise with IBM MQ\\\\r\\\\nAdministrating and configuring IBM MQ platform and clustering solutions.\\\\r\\\\nMQ objects handling\\\\r\\\\nStrong knowledge on MQ Troubleshooting, MQ connectivity and message flow\\\\r\\\\nAbility to support hybrid integration use-cases involving MQ and DataPower.

Key Responsibilities

Lead administration, configuration, and tuning of IBM DataPower XI52/XG52 and Gateway appliances. Design and implement DataPower services (MPGW, WSP, XML Firewall, Crypto objects). Perform migration tasks including import/export, firmware upgrades, and certificates management. Enable/disable probes, perform health checks, and optimize DataPower policies for high availability and performance. Prepare and maintain build documents, operational runbooks, and SOPs. Work with security teams to implement SSL/TLS, AAA, and secure key management. Monitor and troubleshoot issues, perform root cause analysis, and provide L3+ level support. Collaborate with application, middleware, and DevOps teams on end-to-end integration. Raise and manage PMRs with IBM for high-priority issues. Ensure timely delivery of scheduled changes and provide on-call support as needed.

Skill Requirements

 10+ years of experience with IBM DataPower SOA Appliances (XI52, XG52, Gateway). Strong knowledge of security configurations, SSL certificates, and XML Gateway services. Expertise in firmware upgrades, network configurations, load balancing, and proxy setups. Proven experience in troubleshooting, debugging, and performance tuning. Hands-on experience in creating reusable templates and automation for DataPower configurations.
