Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled AWS Engineer with strong hands-on experience designing, building, and operating secure, scalable cloud platforms on Amazon Web Services. The ideal candidate will support end-to-end delivery across networking, compute, storage, security, automation, and reliability, and will also help modernize and migrate applications and databases to AWS with minimal downtime and strong governance.
Total Experience - 8 to 12 years of proven experience in cloud engineering, including designing, deploying, and operating AWS environments with strong focus on security, networking, high availability, disaster recovery, cost optimization, and automation.
Key Responsibilities
· Design, deploy, and manage AWS infrastructure using services such as EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, RDS, Load Balancers, Auto Scaling, and CloudWatch.
· Plan and execute migrations from on-premises or hosted environments to AWS (re-host, re-platform, or re-architect).
· Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using AWS CloudFormation, Terraform, or similar tools.
· Configure and manage networking, security groups, NACLs, IAM roles and policies, and encryption using AWS KMS.
· Build and support highly available and disaster recovery architectures, including multi-AZ setups and backup/restore strategies.
· Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting using Amazon CloudWatch, CloudTrail, and native AWS services.
· Collaborate with application, database, security, and network teams to resolve infrastructure and cloud-related issues.
· Develop operational runbooks, SOPs, and best practices for AWS environments.
· Ensure compliance with AWS Well-Architected Framework, security, and governance standards.

Other Requirements
· 5+ years of hands-on experience building and operating AWS cloud infrastructure in production environments.
· Strong knowledge of AWS core services and architecture patterns: EC2, Auto Scaling, ELB, VPC, S3/EBS/EFS, Route 53, IAM, KMS, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, and Systems Manager.
· Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform and/or CloudFormation), configuration management, and automation using Python/Shell; familiarity with Git-based workflows.
· AWS Certification preferred (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate/Professional, AWS Certified SysOps Administrator, or AWS Certified DevOps Engineer); database migration experience (RDS/Aurora, DMS/SCT) is a plus.
