Job Summary
Patch Management: Should be able to identify connected systems, scan for missing patches, deploy them and maintain automated Patch management processes for Windows. • Comprehensive Patch Management: efficient ability to reduce risk, Patch the OS, third party apps, physical and virtual servers and systems that aren’t always connected. • Identifying and prioritizing patches: Regularly review security advisories and patch releases from Microsoft and other vendors to identify vulnerabilities and necessary updates. • Privilege Management: Implement and manage privilege management policies to minimize the risk of unauthorized access to sensitive systems and data. • Vulnerability Management: Scan and remediate operating system and third-party application vulnerabilities. • Security Incident Response: Should be able to manage and automate the remediation of security events and incidents, utilizing best practices. • Troubleshooting: Investigate and resolve issues related to patch deployment failures, conflicts, or performance degradation. • Vulnerability assessment: Identify and address potential vulnerabilities, check the scan results identify the missing patches in the server infrastructure. • Schedule Jobs to Scan servers & Patch deployment: Experience in creating server groups, schedule Jobs and Tasks for server scanning and patch deployment, monitor & investigate that all jobs run successfully, and targeted patches have been deployed. • Compliance: Ensure servers comply with relevant security standards and regulations, check for the server patch health status.

Skill Requirements
Preferred skills : Understanding of server Roles(web, database, application, etc) and their functions how patch impacts them, Proficiency in windows server distribution, understanding virtualization technologies like VMware or Hyper-V, Power shell scripting, testing and verification, monitoring and logging, Basic networking, understanding DNS and network protocols, security knowledge on common security threats and vulnerabilities, Firewall and Network Security, Problem solving and communication.
