Job Summary

Position Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Windows Administrator with strong expertise in endpoint management (SCCM), monitoring (SCOM), OS imaging, vulnerability remediation, and cloud-based virtual machine operations.

This role will be responsible for managing enterprise Windows environments across on-premises and cloud-hosted virtual machines, ensuring secure, compliant, and highly available infrastructure supporting global operations.

The Sr. SCCM Administrator plays a critical role in providing advanced technical support and operational excellence within the Support & Operations team. This position is responsible for troubleshooting complex incidents, conducting root cause analysis, and implementing effective solutions to enhance customer satisfaction and maintain a robust security posture.

Key Responsibilities

Windows Server & Endpoint Administration

  • Administer and support Windows Server environments (2016/2019/2022) across enterprise infrastructure
  • Manage and troubleshoot Windows OS, system services, registry, and local security policies

Provide advanced L2/L3 support for server and endpoint-related issues

SCCM (Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager)

  • Design, implement, and manage SCCM infrastructure
  • Create, manage, and deploy:
    • OS images (gold images) and task sequences
    • Application packaging and deployments
    • Patch management and software updates
  • Monitor and troubleshoot SCCM client health and distribution issues
  • Automate deployments and compliance reporting

SCOM & Monitoring

  • Configure and support SCOM (System Center Operations Manager)
  • Develop monitoring strategies for:
    • Servers, applications, and infrastructure components
  • Create dashboards, alerts, and thresholds for proactive issue detection
  • Perform root cause analysis using monitoring and alerting tools

1. Adhere To Quality Standards And Regulatory Requirements While Maintaining Compliance With Company Policies In Sccm Operations. 
2. Provide Technical Support For Complex Incidents Escalated By Analysts, Performing Root Cause Analysis And Implementing Solutions To Resolve Sccm-Related Technical And Security Issues.
3. Engage In Knowledge Base Update And Management, Delivering Training And Coaching To New Analysts To Enhance Team Capabilities.
4. Resolve Complex Tickets Within Agreed Slas By Collaborating With Other Support Teams, Ensuring Seamless Operations And A Strong Security Posture.
5. Ensure A Positive Customer Experience And High Csat By Achieving First Call Resolution, Minimizing Rejected Resolutions, And Proactively Mitigating Security Threats.

Skill Requirements

1. Advanced Proficiency In Sccm For System Configuration And Management.
2. Strong Problem-Solving Skills For Complex Technical Issues And Root Cause Analysis.
3. Excellent Communication Skills To Provide Effective Training And Support.
4. Familiarity With Itil Practices For Incident And Service Management.
5. Proficient In Security Best Practices Related To Systems Management.

1. Optional But Valuable: Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate. 
2. Optional But Valuable: Itil Foundation Certification
