Job Summary

Your Role and Responsibilities
Software Distribution + Patch Management Offshore L2 
As  L2, you are responsible to Design & Build imaging (MDT/OSD etc..)environment. You must have Expertise in imaging to develop gold image and deploy as per client requirement. You should be able to handle first point escalation for all technical and process issues. Provide technical subject matter expertise wherever required. Ensure proper communication and quick resolution as a crisis manager. Plan and schedule Changes, Release and Coordinating with different stakeholders. Perform RCA for Major Incidents related to his / her tower Follow quality / security process defined for the engagement.

  • Providing SME support to the Imaging environment, which interacts with the Windows end user 10 platform, which consists of the following component.

    • Exposure to Imaging tools like MDT, SCCM 2007/12/CB Version 1902, 1906, 1910, 2002 etc…
    • OS imaging (Windows 10), Windows 10 servicing model
    • Windows Upgrade (Task sequence, feature update, SAAS etc)
    • Modern Device management solution – CMG, CDP, Co-management.
    • Patching configuration and Distribution
    • Packaging and distribution.
    • Deployment of imaging, packaging & deployment in WVD and Physical environment,
    • Windows OS (Win 10/2012, 2016,2019),
    • Scripting languages like VB & Power shell
    • Azure cloud knowledge of these platform deployments.
  • Perform SME roll, installation, implementation, customization, operation, recovery and performance tuning, architect level of support.
  • Owns & maintain compliance level of the environment.

Other Requirements

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Minimum 5+ years in SCCM platform
  • Strong Knowledge in imaging tools (OSD/MDT etc…).
  • Prior SME experience in MDT, SCCM, windows, AD Server Support, designing, troubleshooting.
  • Ability to interface with customer technical teams and percolate it down to the technical delivery teams.
  • Validated expertise to Update/upgrade OS by requests and all related works and reporting packages update for the production servers

Willingness to Cover on-call / Standby on rotation. Managing ticket queues for Incidents / Service requests & Changes
